About the Role:
The In-Home Services team at Jewish Care requires the expertise of Domestic Support Workers.
We are seeking friendly and happy people that can not only do a great clean but can brighten the day of elders in the community. Most of our clients live in the areas of Caulfield, St Kilda, Carnegie, Bentleigh, Glen Huntley, Malvern, Kew, Moorabbin and surrounding suburbs. Some clients live in Outer Melbourne suburbs. Ideally rosters will be set to provide you with work closer to home, however, employees that are flexible will be able to secure more hours of work.
You will need to have your own reliable transport, typically most hours of work will be 25 hours+ and pay rates commence at $25+ per hour + super.
Clients will provide safe cleaning products and cleaning equipment. Jewish Care will supply your personal protective equipment such as disposable aprons and gloves. Your role will entail duties such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping down tables, benches, showers, baths, stove tops, fridges and cupboards. Most importantly we are seeking kind, friendly and reliable staff. People that care about people!
Skills Required:
- Ability to do housework including bending and repetitive work
- Own car and driver licence
