We know that many people in our community are hurting.
Our psychology services were established to respond to community need and is available to members of the Victorian Jewish Community aged 16 years and older. The focus of the psychology program is to support the client to address issues in their lives that are causing emotional distress and improve their overall wellbeing.
Members of the community can self-refer to access up to 10 sessions without a referral from their GP. This support is available at no cost to the client and does not require access to Medicare, NDIS or other government funding.
Sessions are available in person at our office in Windsor, or via telehealth.
Our culturally sensitive therapeutic support is provided by Provisional Psychologists, who are studying either their Masters or Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology. Each Provisional Psychologist is supervised by a Senior Clinical Psychologist, in accordance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency’s (AHPRA) accreditation standards.
Please note, we are not able to provide the following as part of the psychology program:
- Court reports or legal assistance such as expert witnesses, or
- Psychological assessments to obtain diagnoses
