Youth Aspire

We know being a young person isn’t always easy.

Youth Aspire is for young people who would like to connect with a supportive adult mentor. When things feel tricky - whether that’s at home, at school, or life in general - having someone in your corner can make a big difference.

Through regular catch-ups with their mentor, Aspire participants can explore their goals and wishes in a safe and encouraging environment. This could include supporting you in making decisions about the future; celebrating your achievements; helping you to see your unique strengths; or just offering a listening ear. Eligible mentees can also apply for scholarship funds to pursue an area of passion or interest.

The program is aimed at young people aged 14 – 19, though there is flexibility to work with people who are a little older or younger.

Applications to Youth Aspire can be made year-round. Referrals can be made by parents and carers, schools, support services, youth movements, or by the young person themselves. There is no cost to participate in the program, which is supported by the generosity of private donors.
