About the Role

Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah Colleges is a vibrant Independent School community comprising two Primary Schools, two Secondary Schools, an Early Learning Centre and a Creche.

With a focus on both Jewish and General studies, we provide an environment that is both enriching and nurturing.

Our Boy’s Primary school is currently looking for an Integration Aide. This is permanent part-time role offering 0.34 FTE, 13 hours per week across Mondays and Wednesdays.

More about the role:

  • Support teachers in the delivery of educational programs, ensuring students can access and participate safely and inclusively in all school activities
  • Assist in implementing teacher expectations and contribute to the adaptation and modification of student learning programs where required
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes each student’s participation within the whole class setting
  • Engage with students in a warm, respectful, and encouraging manner to support their learning, wellbeing, and confidence
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with parents, teachers, and students to support positive educational outcomes
  • Actively participate in classroom and school activities, providing appropriate assistance, intervention, and encouragement to students as needed

Qualifications/Skills Required

About you:

  • A good ability to work independently and take initiative to plan and complete tasks
  • Previous experience will be required working with children/students with specialised and complex learning needs
  • Experience working in social work or counselling/teaching will be advantageous
  • A sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
