2025 Annual General Meeting Summary

Jewish Care Victoria held its 2025 Annual General Meeting on 27 November 2025, bringing together members, Board Directors, Life Governors and staff for an update on the year’s achievements and challenges.

Chaired by Co-President Mr Adam Joel, the meeting acknowledged the ongoing impact of global events on the community and highlighted Jewish Care’s strengthened crisis-response model, growing demand for social services, and continued focus on aged care, disability services and quality improvement.

Members passed two special resolutions: the extension of Ms Simone Szalmuk-Singer’s Board term, and the adoption of updated organisational Rules.

Four nominees were confirmed to the Board, with a warm welcome extended to new Director, Ms Rebecca Jaffe.

The Chief Executive and Treasurer presented operational and financial highlights, including the launch of the 2025 & Beyond organisational strategy.

Jewish Care expressed deep gratitude to its staff, volunteers and supporters for their dedication throughout an extraordinarily challenging year, reaffirming its commitment to delivering safe, compassionate and responsive care to the Victorian Jewish community.
