About the Role

Our Boys' Primary School is seeking an exceptional Jewish Studies teacher. This is a permanent, part time position commencing Term 1 2025 or potentially sooner. 

  • Plan and deliver the Jewish Studies Curriculum to primary school aged students, to develop their Jewish Studies skills and knowledge.
  • Create and enhance a positive, safe and rigorous learning environment.
  • Plan and assess for effective learning.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources that engage students in learning.
  • Reflect on and improve professional knowledge and practice.
  • Support and adhere to School Policies, protocols and processes (e.g. reporting, documentation, examinations etc).

Qualifications/Skills Required

About You: 

  • Solid experience working within a school environment as a primary Jewish Studies teacher.
  • Extensive practical understanding and knowledge of Chabad ethos and way of life.
  • High level of attention to detail and empathy when dealing with students to aid in their ongoing development.
  • Strong organisational skills to ensure a solid teaching framework is adhered to, in an engaging manner.
  • Have relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
  • Current WWCC required.
