About the Role

We are an Orthodox Jewish school and our unique core values are based around work life balance. We guide the child's educational journey with care and commitment. Operating in line with the ethos and values of Chabad, we foster a strong sense of community and support the personal growth and academic achievement of each student. With a focus on both Jewish and General studies, we provide an environment that is both enriching and nurturing.

We have part time positions for Integration Aides to help support our all boys and girls primary campuses. These roles require Jewish Studies knowledge as part of supporting the students.

More about the role:

  • Support teachers in the delivery of educational programs, ensuring students can access and participate safely and inclusively in all school activities
  • Assist in implementing teacher expectations and contribute to the adaptation and modification of student learning programs where required
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes each student’s participation within the whole class setting
  • Engage with students in a warm, respectful, and encouraging manner to support their learning, wellbeing, and confidence
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with parents, teachers, and students to support positive educational outcomes
  • Actively participate in classroom and school activities, providing appropriate assistance, intervention, and encouragement to students as needed

About you:

  • A good ability to work independently and take initiative to plan and complete tasks
  • Previous experience working with children/students with specialised and complex learning needs
  • Jewish studies knowledge mandatory
  • Experience working in social work or counselling/teaching will be advantageous
  • A sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children

Working Hours

Part Time: 23.5 – 31.5 hours per week
