About the Role

Yeshivah – Beth Rivkah Colleges is a vibrant Independent School community comprising two Primary Schools, two Secondary Schools, an Early Learning Centre and a Creche.

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Facilities Officer to help keep our campuses running smoothly by creating a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for our students.

More about the role:

  • General maintenance - complete day‑to‑day repairs, basic carpentry, painting, minor plumbing and general upkeep.
  • Facilities inspections - carry out regular checks of buildings, classrooms, equipment and outdoor areas.
  • Contractor support - assist with scheduling and supervising external trades and service providers.
  • Safety & compliance- maintain logs, support WHS processes and ensure facilities meet regulatory standards.
  • Event setup - prepare spaces for school events, assemblies and community activities.
  • Grounds care - support gardening, outdoor maintenance and general presentation of the campus.
  • Responsive support - action maintenance requests promptly and assist with urgent repairs.

 

Working Hours

Full Time Monday to Friday

 

Qualifications/Skills Required

About you:

  • Practical, proactive and able to troubleshoot issues independently
  • Comfortable working in a school environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience in maintenance, trades or facilities roles
  • Commitment to safety, compliance and high‑quality work
  • Trade certificate preferred
