About the Role
NAX Capital is seeking an experienced Broker / Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting prospective clients into active participants within the firm’s crypto trading ecosystem. This role combines relationship-building with strategic sales execution, supporting clients through onboarding, product education, and trade facilitation.
While prior crypto experience is advantageous, strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and a proactive approach to client management are essential. The Broker / BMD acts as a key growth driver, bridging client needs with tailored digital asset solutions in a fast-evolving regulatory and market landscape.
This is a full-time permanent onsite position located at our modern office on 570 St Kilda Road between the hours of Monday- Friday standard business hours

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships quickly, assess client needs and upsell or cross-sell relevant crypto products and services
- Maintain a proactive follow- up schedule to nurture leads and close deals
- Provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and long-term engagement
- Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements
- Engage both B2B and B2C clients, tailoring service offerings to institutional, retail, and crypto-native profiles
- Facilitate OTC trades and digital asset transactions
- Source liquidity and negotiate pricing across exchanges
- Assist clients with onboarding and account setup ensuring KYC/AML compliance
- Translate complex crypto concepts into clear, client- friendly language
- Stay informed on regulatory shifts (ASIC, AUSTRAC, global frameworks)
- Prepare tailored presentations and sales materials
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline tracking
- Ensure all activities meet internal compliance and licensing standards
- Liaise with internal teams to execute client orders or resolve trade- related queries
- Daily/weekly reporting and ad hoc administrative duties as required
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all client interactions

Qualifications/Skills Required
This role is perfect for a confident communicator with strong commercial instincts, comfortable building relationships and driving growth across both traditional and emerging markets
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Broker and/or BMD role (or similar)
- Able to foster trust with clients, partners and internal teams across fast-moving sectors
- Understands market dynamics, pricing strategies, and how to identify and close profitable deals
- Thrives in high-pressure environments and pivots quickly when priorities shift
- Can articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Manages pipelines proactively, tracks performance metrics, and follows through without micromanagement
- Appreciates the importance of regulatory frameworks, especially in crypto or financial services.
- Comfortable using CRM tools, data dashboards, and digital platforms to drive outreach and reporting.
