About the Role

Fundraising Manager will develop and promote a diverse range of fundraising activities and projects to support our fundraising strategy and income generation.  
 

  • This includes driving the acquisition, engagement, management and retention of Donors including Major Donors and Bequestors. This role is about developing and implementing a strategy and program of work that cultivates and nurtures new and existing relationships with donors. 
  • Developing fundraising plans focused on building donor and income growth 
  • Researching, identifying and managing philanthropists and significant donors including Trusts and Foundations, Major Donors, Corporates and potential Bequest Donors 
  • Developing a Stewardship plan that recognises, thanks and maintains strong relationships with donors across all giving levels 
  • Thanking and reporting back to donors in a timely manner 
  • Engagement of current and past donors to reignite their passion for giving to WIZO Victoria again 

 

Working Hours

Permanent Part Time or contractual basis negotiable

 

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Bachelor of Business (Marketing, Communications) OR CFRE International (Certified Fundraising Executive) or equivalent Skills and Experience Knowledge  
  • Knowledge of fundraising practices and principles or equivalent customer service experience, including what motivates donors to give / customers to buy, particularly as they relate to upselling and upgrading  
  • Donor / Customer engagement principles and segmentation approaches

Experience  

  • 5+ years’ experience in fundraising or managing relationships with donors in not-for-profit organisations or with customers in Sales / Marketing / Retail or such equivalent 
  • Proven track record in the development and delivery of successful fundraising or customer service programs  
  • Proven experience in delivering best practice donor/customer care and building and nurturing relationships  
  • Proven experience in setting and achieving revenue targets
