Jewish Care is delighted to advise that the partial lockdown at Residential Home Carnegie has now been lifted and a return to pre-outbreak visitation is effective immediately.

Visitation protocols are in line with the visitation restrictions that were introduced by Health Minister, Martin Foley from 12 January 2022. Keeping Victorian Workers In Key Sectors Safe | Premier of Victoria. All impacted elders and families have been notified of the visitation protocols.

Jewish Care’s visitation protocols are designed to mitigate the risk of transmission in light of the growing number of COVID-19 cases and the highly infectious and transmissible nature of the Omicron variant.

Jewish Care Victoria continues to work diligently to safeguard the wellbeing of elders and staff across all our services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We continue to urge everyone in our community to comply with the Victorian Pandemic Orders regarding isolation requirements. Please do not visit our homes if you have the slightest of signs or symptoms, are awaiting a test result, have been notified that you are a household contact or are in isolation,” said Adjunct Professor Alan Lilly, Chief Executive Officer.
