Jewish Care Victoria continues to work diligently to safeguard the wellbeing of elders and staff across all our services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Day three testing of our elders has been completed at Residential Home Carnegie and we are pleased to advise that no further positive COVID-19 cases have been detected”, said Adjunct Professor Alan Lilly, Chief Executive Officer.
All elders remain well and continue to be supported by staff. Day six testing is scheduled to take place on Thursday 10 February.
Under the direction of the Public Health Unit, elders who returned negative tests are free to leave their rooms and enjoy meals and activities together. Unfortunately, outings are not permitted at this time.
“We urge everyone in our community to comply with the Victorian Pandemic Orders regarding isolation requirements. Please do not visit our homes if you have the slightest of signs or symptoms, are awaiting a test result, have been notified that you are a household contact or are in isolation”, said Alan Lilly.
