With reducing numbers of positive COVID-19 cases in the community, we are pleased to advise that staff and visitors are now only required to wear surgical masks in our Residential Aged Care homes.
All visitors to the homes are now required to:
- have a negative result from a COVID-19 rapid antigen test (RAT) taken on the same day that you plan to visit the home
- wear a surgical mask at all times within the home
- have a minimum of two doses of COVID-19 vaccinations
- maintain regular hand washing and good hand hygiene
- practice social distancing and, where possible, open windows in residents’ rooms to promote good ventilation.
The care and wellbeing of our residents and staff is our priority.
We remind and encourage our community to remain hyper-vigilant with sanitising, mask wearing where appropriate and remaining at home if you feel unwell or have returned a positive COVID-19 test.
