About the Role

Our Girls' Secondary School is seeking an exceptional Hebrew language teacher. This is a permanent, part time position commencing asap.

  • Plan and deliver the Hebrew language program to Secondary students, to develop their Hebrew language skills
  • Create and enhance a positive, safe and challenging learning environment
  • Plan and assess for effective learning
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources that engage students in learning
  • Reflect on and improve professional knowledge and practice
  • Support and adhere to School Policies, protocols and processes (e.g. reporting, documentation, examinations etc)

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Solid experience working within a school environment as a secondary Hebrew classroom teacher.
  • Knowledge of the B’shvil HaIvrit Hebrew language curriculum is preferred but not required
  • High level of attention to detail and empathy when dealing with students to aid in their ongoing development.
  • Strong organisation skills to ensure a solid framework is adhered to but in an engaging manner.
  • Have relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
  • Current VIT registration required and WWCC.
