As a Craft Enthusiast volunteer, you will have the wonderful opportunity to engage our elderly residents in creative and artistic activities. Your skills and passion for crafting can inspire and uplift our residents, enhancing their quality of life and fostering a sense of accomplishment. Your dedication to sharing your creative talents with our elderly residents is truly inspiring. Your craft sessions can bring joy, fulfilment, and a sense of achievement to our residents' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Leading craft sessions and guiding residents in various artistic projects.
- Assisting residents in exploring different crafts, such as painting, pottery, knitting, or other creative endeavours.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive environment for residents to express their creativity.
- Encouraging social interaction and fostering a sense of community among participants.
Working Hours
One-two hours per week or fortnightly.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- A passion for crafting and creativity.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with elderly residents.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and instruct group activities.
