Residential Home Windsor Accreditation Assessment - 16 September 2022

16 September 2022

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) conducted an unannounced accreditation visit, in July, at Residential Home Windsor as part of its regular monitoring and accreditation program.

Following the visit, Jewish Care is pleased to advise that the Home has retained its ongoing accreditation status and is now accredited until May 2025.

However, during the onsite assessment, the Commission identified examples where some expected outcomes were not always met and which now require improvement to fully meet the intended outcome of each Standard.

Jewish Care is pleased to advise that these improvements have been added to our Continuous Improvement Plan as a priority and implementation of those improvements is already underway.

“I would like to thank staff and the many elders and families who assisted the Commission’s assessors during the accreditation visit. This process is immensely valuable in helping us to identify areas where we can continue to improve. We will continue to keep elders, representatives and staff updated as we progress through our improvement activities,” said Cindy Joffe, Acting Chief Operating Officer.
