Generations of Women Brunch 2025

The Event

Date: Thursday 23 October 10:30am

Successfully fundraising for 27 years, the Generations of Women Brunch raises funds for Jewish Care's Housing Support Program, supporting individuals and families at risk of homelessness.

The Speakers: Ali Berg and Michelle Kalus

Ali and Michelle are best friends, co-authors of four internationally bestselling romantic comedies, and the co-founders of Australian social initiative Books on the Rail, where they leave books on public transport for strangers to discover and enjoy.

When they’re not writing novels together, Ali works as a copywriter and Michelle is a primary school teacher. Both live in Melbourne with their respective families and colour-coordinated bookshelves. As ten-year-olds, they could often be found ditching playtime in favour of writing club, and they haven’t stopped storytelling since.
