Dr Simon Grof

Chief Medical Officer

With extensive medical experience, Simon has been a Consultant Geriatrician at Eastern Health since 2014 and is Clinical Director of their Coordinated Care, Aged Medicine Program.

He also works across Aged Medicine and Ambulatory Care to maintain his clinical skills and evidenced-based knowledge.

Simon is also a clinical lecturer at the School of Medicine, Faculty of Health at Deakin University. He is also involved in medical education and clinical supervision of Geriatric Medicine Advanced Trainees.

Simon recently completed an Associate Fellowship through Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (2021), Leadership and Innovation in Health program (run by Monash University and Harvard Macy Institute, 2020) and graduated from the Williamson Community Leadership Program (2017).

Simon is passionate about quality and safety and continues to be an excellent advocate for older Australians and their family caregivers.
