Adjunct Associate Professor Gayle Smith commenced at Jewish Care in February 2023 as Director: Clinical Governance, Risk & Experience. Gayle professional background spans clinical care, professional leadership in allied health, strategy development & deployment, service improvement, clinical governance, risk management, client experience and innovation within both public and not-for-profit sectors.
Originally qualifying as an Occupational Therapist, Gayle has a Graduate Diploma in Business, a Master of Business in Health Administration and a Professional Certificate in Health Systems Management. With a thirst for ongoing personal and professional development, she is also currently completing a Doctorate in Public Health. She is committed to ensuring we can provide the best experience for our residents and clients, their families and our staff by focusing on quality, safety and continuous improvement and is a highly regarded leader in the health sector.
