About us
Jewish Care Victoria, is a not-for-profit organisation and is one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria and has been servicing the community for 175 years. Our staff come from all cultural and religious backgrounds, and we provide cultural and spiritual training in the Jewish Ethos. 

About you

You will bring attention to detail to provide high level of accuracy, and commitment to ensure staff are paid correctly. You will be supported by the payroll team and will work closely with all levels of the organisation ensuring the rostering system captures all proposed and actual employee working hours, and efficiently and accurately provides data to the payroll system.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Proven experience providing rostering and payroll support services in a mid-sized organisation
  • Previous experience using PayGlobal software (desirable)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring that staff are paid correctly
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding across all areas of rostering and payroll activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong client-focused approach to work with the ability to problem solve, identify appropriate corrective action and advise staff
  • Ability to support and implement process improvement changes
  • Proven experience in the payroll interpretation of EBA's and workplace agreements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Experience working in Payroll
  • Stakeholder management and communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven proficiency in the use and application of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
