About the Role

Jewish Care Victoria, is a not-for-profit organisation and is one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria and has been servicing the community for 170 years. Our staff come from all cultural and religious backgrounds, and we provide cultural and spiritual training in the Jewish Ethos.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Knowledge and management of tender processes
  • Managing contracts with suppliers
  • Identifying risk, and developing risk reduction and management strategies
  • Knowledge and management of data analysitics and modeling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Coordination of contracts for goods and services

Qualifications/Skills Required

Essential: Do you currently hold a valid police check or are you happy to have Jewish Care Victoria process one on your behalf?
Essential: Do you have full working rights within Australia? (If no, please indicate your working restriction)
Essential: When would you be available to commence in this role?

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Experience working as part of Procurement Function in a similar role
  • Stakeholder management and communications
  • Management of sourcing and related RFx activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Contract management skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Proven proficiency in the use and application of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
