About the Role
Senior Clinical Psychologist
- Full time fixed term position
- Modern office located in Windsor

In this newly created role, you will need to establish and lead a psychology/counselling student hub to provide direct service in the form of brief interventions that are solution focused to those seeking mental health support from Jewish Care.
You will establish relationships with relevant tertiary institutes including Tafes, universities and private institutions to ensure a continual flow of students. Coaching and supervision of students will be a primary function of this role.
Building capacity of internal stakeholders through education, resource sharing and secondary consultation, will also be embedded as a function of the role. In addition, secondary consultation to external stakeholders on client specific and service related matters will be an offering.
What you will do
- Knowledge of the NDIS quality and practice standards
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and or coaching students and/or entry level psychologists
- Establish relationships with relevant tertiary institutes including Tafes, universities and private institutions to ensure a continual flow of students.
- Coaching and supervision of students will be a primary function of the role.
- Building capacity of internal stakeholders through education, resource sharing and secondary consultation. In addition, secondary consultation to external stakeholders on client specific and service related matters will be an offering.
- Engagement with professionals in the Jewish community to expand the network of pro-bono psychologists and other mental health professionals.
- A focus on enhancing partnerships with other community-based providers to broaden community access will be a strategic outcome of this new position.
- Liase and work collaboratively with key stakeholders

Qualifications/Skills Required
- Clinical Masters in Psychology and current Registration as a Psychologist with Clinical Endorsement; OR
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology and experience supervising psychology students
- Registration with AHPRA
- Eligible to register to provide psychology services through Medicare
- A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in Psychology
- Experience in working across a range of mental health issues including depression, addiction, anxiety, and psychosis.
- Experience in supporting people with complex needs – including completing assessments and developing support plans
