Smorgon Family NursingHome offers specialist high-care support that allows residents to live with dignity and love. This affordable facility provides modern, culturally appropriate accommodation with individualised nursing care for up to 90 residents. Our home offers comfortable shared and single rooms and facilities. Three separate lounges and dining room areas are used for Shabbat and High Holy Day Services.
Located in Caulfield North, this high-level, 5-star care facility comprising 43 rooms with ensuites offers extra services for residents. This very special facility offers quality chef prepared meals, an in-house cinema, and private and communal living areas. Residents can choose from a range of personal service packages including extra therapies, beauty treatments and special outings.
Our staff attend regular external and internal training and development programs to learn about contemporary practices in the care of residents with dementia. Our lifestyle programs encompass specifically designed activities to support residents during difficult times and in need of diversional and complimentary therapies.
Gary Smorgon House offers a specifically allocated environment that provides support to residents with dementia specific needs such as a secure landscaped garden, a multi-sensory den with audio-visual equipment and tactile areas, as well as smaller private areas for families and resident use.
Our staff are available at any time to assist families who experience difficulties in dealing with the challenges of dementia and we offer a carer’s support group for anyone that wishes to attend.
