Housing and Home Support
Supported Accommodation
Having the choice to live where and how you choose is a basic right that all people should be able to access. Jewish Care’s supported accommodation provides meaningful housing options for adults with a disability who wish to live independently, but who need some support to be able to do so.
We provide four community residences for adults with a disability, providing a safe and supportive base from which residents can acquire new skills and take on new challenges. Staff support each resident to set goals for themselves and facilitate a range of person-centred opportunities for skill development and participation in the life of their community.

Independent Living Units
Moving into an Independent Living Unit gives you a sense of belonging that you don’t get from living on your own. Your neighbours are more than just people who live near you, they are people who will stop for a chat, someone who will invite you round for dinner or a friend you know you can rely on.
For many people, the sense of community is one of the main attractions of living here, although it’s nice to be able to have the private sanctuary of your own home as well.
Nearby are the shops, parks, cafes and restaurants that you’ve grown up around; your local butcher who knows you by name, the hairdressers you’ve always gone to, not to mention your network of friends and your family. Jewish Care Independent Living Units give you much more than just a house to live in; it gives you a place to call home.
