Friends of Montefiore Celebrate Happiness & Positivity
The 28th Annual Brunch of the Friends of Montefiore was held on Wednesday, June 1, at Leonda by the Yarra and well attended by over 200 women.
Guest speaker Megan Castran, Australia’s keenest Oprah devotee, told of her approach to achieving positivity and happiness.
Led by their untiring chair, Delysia Pahoff, the group have successfully run this important fundraising and social event for 28 years now – this year they raised $65,000. The money will go towards the purchase of a new mini-van for the residents of Montefiore Homes Community Residence.
“This Brunch is what turning lives around, together is all about”, said Bruce Rosengarten, President of Jewish Care. “It is a wonderful achievement for Mrs Pahoff and her team and we are extremely thankful for their unbelievable support”.
