Mental Health Services
Jewish Care provides comprehensive assessment, counselling and other support services, including advocacy, to support adults living with a mental illness, their families and carers.
Our focus is on prevention, healing and social support, with services to aid recovery, establish goals and build a sense of purpose and connection to the Jewish and wider community.
Jewish Care help people with mental illness with:
- Information, advice and advocacy
- Ongoing counselling and support
- Partnerships and liaisonwith other professionals and organisations
- Links to other Jewish Care services such as housing support, financial aid and employment services
- Educational programs, return to learning courses, computer training
- Social activities including creative arts and outings to foster belonging and encourage social inclusion
- Interpreters as required
