There are many ways you can support Jewish Care from your place of work. Fundraising at work is a great way to enhance your company's reputation with shareholders, suppliers, and the community. It also provides your colleagues with an opportunity to get to know each other!

Inject some fun into the workplace with these ideas to raise money and get your company involved:

• Walk or cycle to work - donate the cash you would have spent on petrol and parking fees
  
• Dress-up day - forget about casual Friday. Play dress-ups and raise money while raising employee spirits
• Skills auction - whatever you and your colleagues’ skills are, offer them to the highest bidder at auction
• No caffeine week - a challenge in itself. Those who don’t make it can pay a forfeit while others donate the dollars they save

Here’s a few ways of giving tzedakah:

• Ask family and friends to make a donation to Jewish Care to celebrate your birthday or simcha
• Donate to celebrate your bar/bat mitzvah through our Bar/Bat Mitzvah Program
• Put a little pocket money aside each week to share with families in need
• Place your tzedakah box in your bedroom, family room, shop counter or classroom – where other people can see it and donate, too
• Have a sausage sizzle or cake stall where profits from the sale of food becomes your donation
• Organise a sporting event such as a fun run/walk/swim as a fundraiser
• Ask your school or workplace to hold a casual dress day – for a gold coin donation
