Corporate Support
Regardless of the size of your business, there are many ways in which you can contribute skills, funds, goods or services to Jewish Care to help us make a huge difference to the lives of many vulnerable people in our community.
Workplace Giving
Workplace giving allows an employee to donate regularly to charitable organisations through automated payroll deductions.
You are able to nominate the amount you would like to give from your pre-tax salary each month to the organisation of your choice. Every dollar, no matter how small, adds up if a group of employees get together to support Jewish Care.
The benefit of pre-tax donations is that you receive the tax benefit immediately and there is no need to wait until the end of financial year to claim the tax deduction. You also don't have the need to keep and claim receipts.
In Australia, hundreds of businesses already operate a workplace giving programme, helping to bring a strong sense of community into the workplace. Workplace giving is a simple and effective way to enhance your business’ involvement in the community, with clear business, employee and community benefits.

Charitable Business Contributions
By making charitable business donations your business can help a good cause and lower your taxes at the same time. Charitable contributions provide a perfect vehicle for you to do something good for the community and do something beneficial for your company at the same time.
Partnerships
Jewish Care always seeks the support of the business, commercial and community sectors willing to build a relationship with us and to become a partner in supporting mutual objectives, while making an investment in supporting and providing services for people in the Victorian Jewish community.
Volunteering
Corporate volunteering with Jewish Care is an effective way for your employees to build skills and develop networks, while making a difference to the community. It can be fun and it offers a unique chance for personal and group development.
We work closely with you to identify volunteering opportunities that match the needs of your staff, your organisation and our clients. The benefits are therefore threefold:
We work closely with you to identify volunteering opportunities that match the needs of your staff, your organisation and our clients. The benefits are therefore threefold:
- Your employees improve their leadership skills, increase their awareness of social justice issues and gain satisfaction from contributing to the community.
- Your organisation demonstrates corporate social responsibility, which can flow on to improved staff and customer relationships.
- Jewish Care and our clients gain access to extra resources and skills, resulting in services that otherwise might not have been possible.
Pro Bono Support
There are always opportunities for businesses to provide pro bono assistance to Jewish Care. By contributing specialist skills, your company can help our staff accomplish projects that directly benefit people in need or who are experiencing disadvantage in our community.
Over the years, we have gratefully received pro bono assistance from companies in areas such as law, accounting, finance, building, food service, marketing and event management. In some cases, this assistance has also involved mentoring Jewish Care staff in specialist skills.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsors typically identify a Jewish Care program that they would like to support and make financial contributions to enable the program to be delivered over time. But sponsorship goes well beyond providing financial support.
We encourage long-term partnerships that are tailored to your corporate culture, your employees' interests and the needs of the community.
