How Jewish Care Helps

Turning Lives Around, Together

Thousands of individuals in our community face significant challenges every day - disability, ageing, financial obstacles, mental health issues, unemployment, family violence, trauma, grief and loss. We rely on community funding to ensure they receive the vital support they need. By donating to the 2012 Jewish Care Annual Appeal, you are helping to turn lives around, together.

If you know of someone who needs our support, or if you would like to discuss more ways you can get involved, please call us on (03) 8517-5999.

Community Support

Jewish Care supports individuals and families during hardship or crisis, providing emergency relief, counselling, financial services, employment and training, housing support and restitution guidance for Holocaust survivors. Our services help build strength and resilience in the Victorian Jewish community.

Disability Services

Jewish Care assists people with a disability and their families to make positive choices about the life they wish to lead. We support individuals and their families with advocacy, employment and training, supported housing, respite, recreational programs, financial services and support at home and in the community. Our focus is on building inclusive communities.

Services For Older People

Jewish Care provides a wide range of welcoming, culturally-appropriate services for our senior citizens. Our four facilities provide residential and respite care to meet all aged care needs. We also offer healthy ageing programs and home and personal care services, supporting older people to live independently in their own home.
