Robbie Franco

General Manager of Development

With over twenty five years of international business experience, Robbie brings extensive management skills to the Development Division of Jewish Care.
 
Born and educated in South Africa, Robbie spent twenty five years in Israel, six years in New Zealand, and settled with his family in Melbourne in 2009.

In his most recent role as Executive Director of the Zionist Federation of Australia, Robbie was instrumental in developing and enunciating a new strategic direction for the organisation that resulted in significant improvement in all aspects of its diverse portfolio of activities, including fundraising and marketing.

Robbie’s academic background includes Organisational Consultancy, Mediation and Integrative Negotiation and Psychology. He has local and international business experience in management, business development, marketing, sales, coaching and mentoring, has worked for national and multinational organisations and has successfully developed and managed organisations and teams.

Married with three sons, he was a Board member for The Democratic School (Kfar Sava, Israel) and Center City Music Theatre in Auckland, New Zealand.
