Turning lives around, together

Jewish Care's appeals and events raise crucial funds to enable the delivery of important community services, which receive little or no government funding. These services include emergency assistance, financial support, housing, counselling and mental health support, education and employment, cultural and spiritual services, disability services and healthy ageing programs.

Thanks to generous support from our donors, we are able to change thousands of lives in our community.

Annual Appeal

The biggest campaign of the year, Jewish Care's Annual Appeal aims to bring in millions of dollars to respond to the ongoing needs of the Victorian Jewish community.

Friends of Montefiore Brunch

Successfully running for 33 years, Friends of Montefiore Brunch supports Jewish Care's aged care and general services, while also providing a great opportunity to meet good friends and inspirational speakers.

Rosh Hashana Appeal

This campaign commences 3 weeks before Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, which is a customary time for helping people in need according to the Jewish calendar.

Generations of Women Brunch

Uniting strong and spirited women for 21 years, Generations of Women Brunch is an important fundraising event on Jewish Care's calendar.

Annual General Meeting

Jewish Care invites members and the community to its Annual General Meeting. We look forward to sharing with you our key milestones of the past year and unveiling exciting new directions for the year ahead.

September Appeal

Initiated over 35 years ago by a dedicated parent of a child with a disability, this appeal (formerly known as Phantom Tea) raises money solely for Jewish Care's disability services.
